Daiichi Sankyo is expanding its Pfaffenhofen site into an international innovation centre and, according to the company, is investing around one billion euros in the project. The centrepiece is a seven-storey production building for antibody-drug conjugates with around 27,000 m² of floor space; construction began in November 2024 and, according to the official announcement, commissioning is planned for February 2027. Further laboratories and jobs are to follow by 2030.
For companies in plant engineering, cleanroom, measurement and building services, that means long assignments with fixed teams. From Casa Theresa it is around 21 km to Luitpoldstraße. The plant is on the north-eastern edge of Pfaffenhofen – exactly the side you approach from via Wolnzach. So you don't have to drive through the town centre in the morning.

The route: via Hüll and Wolnzach
You drive from Berg via Hüll to Wolnzach and from there along the state road to Pfaffenhofen. In Wolnzach there are supermarkets, bakeries and petrol stations along the way, so you don't have to make a separate trip in the evening.
