Contractor accommodation near Au in der Hallertau

Bayernwerk Netz is upgrading the substation on Pfaffenhofener Straße between Au and Halsberg at a cost of around 27 million euros. The plans include a new operations building, new medium- and high-voltage switchgear, new pylons and four large transformers instead of two; capacity will rise from 80 to 230 megavolt-amperes. Work began at the end of June 2026 and everything is due to be completed in 2029 – while the installation remains in operation.

For civil engineering, electrical and installation companies this means three years of work right on our doorstep. It is only about 6 km from Casa Theresa. At the same time, Bayernwerk is laying new cables in the surrounding area, for example in Osterwaal and Nandlstadt – and for those jobs too we are the nearest whole apartment.

Au is a hop-growing and brewing village: at the Hallertauer Hopfenveredelung on Mainburger Straße hops are processed into pellets, the Schlossbrauerei Au is building a new fermenting and storage cellar, and since May 2026 the market town has been redesigning Obere and Untere Hauptstraße in a third construction phase. Add to that the fibre-optic roll-out in Rudelzhausen and Hörgertshausen and many smaller building sites in the northern district of Freising.

If you work here, you drive from Berg through the countryside and are on the B301 within a few minutes – south towards Freising and the airport, north towards Mainburg.

There are a number of contractor rooms in Au and Rudelzhausen, plus one large aparthotel. With us, your team doesn't stay in a corridor of rooms but in its own apartment of 80 or 90 m², with kitchen, dining table and washing machine – and we always let to one team only.
