Location and travel times
Casa Theresa is quietly located in the Berg district of Rudelzhausen – between Mainburg, Wolnzach and Au in der Hallertau. The A93 is just a few minutes away; shops and a petrol station are about 4 km away. Wolnzach is around 10 minutes away, Mainburg 12, Geisenfeld 18 and Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm 25 minutes. Ingolstadt, Manching and Freising can be reached in just over half an hour.

Welcome to the Hallertau
Welcome to the Hallertau – the largest contiguous hop-growing area in the world, in the heart of Upper Bavaria. Rudelzhausen lies in the north of the district of Freising, among gently rolling hills, small market towns and hop gardens whose bines climb up to seven metres high in summer. The harvest runs from late August into September.
Guests from the UK may well know this kind of landscape from Kent, the “Garden of England”, where hop gardens and oast houses have shaped the countryside for centuries – so you may feel less far from home here than you would expect.
Most international teams arrive via Munich Airport, around 41 minutes away by car. The nearest motorway, the A93, is about 8 minutes from the house, and via the Holledau interchange you are quickly on the A9 towards Munich and Ingolstadt. Please remember that in Germany we drive on the right.
After work, the German Hop Museum in Wolnzach and the beer gardens of the region are well worth a visit.

I am Theresa Poll and since 2021 I have been letting two apartments in our house in Berg near Rudelzhausen – in the heart of the Hallertau. My guests are mainly installation teams, tradespeople and technicians working in the region.
It matters to me that you feel at home after a long working day: a clean bed of your own for everyone, a fully equipped kitchen and peace and quiet to relax. Each team has its apartment all to itself.

Frequently asked questions
Will we get an invoice made out to our company?
Yes. You will receive an invoice with VAT (7 %) shown separately.
Where do we park with a van or truck?
Right next to the house. There are 15 parking spaces, including for vans, trailers and trucks.
Can we arrive late in the evening?
Yes. We arrange check-in and check-out individually with you – just let us know when you will arrive.
Does the team have to share the apartment with strangers?
No. Each apartment is only let to one team. You have the kitchen, bathroom and living area to yourselves.
How is laundry done?
Each apartment has its own washing machine and tumble dryer – both free of charge. We change bed linen and towels every 14 days free of charge.
Is smoking allowed?
Not inside the house. Outside there is a covered smoking pavilion – usable even in bad weather.
Are pets allowed?
In principle yes, after a short consultation.
How far is it to Mainburg, Wolnzach and Ingolstadt?
Wolnzach and Mainburg are about 10 to 12 minutes' drive away, the A93 around 8 minutes. Ingolstadt, Audi or Airbus in Manching are just over 30 minutes away – in return you stay somewhere quiet, affordable and with room for the whole team.
Where can we go shopping?
A supermarket, bakery and petrol station are about 4 km away. Larger shopping facilities can be found in Mainburg and Au.
